Q&A With Co-Founder Natalie Jahangiry

In this post, we step inside the creative world of Co-founder Natalie to explore the design influences that shape her unique style. From her go-to decorating tips to the elements she’s loving right now on Instagram, to sharing what inspires her approach to designing thoughtful, family-friendly spaces. Whether it's layering textures, playing with colour or finding beauty in the practical, Natalie talks through thoughtful design approach to bring a sense of calm and personality to every project.

What’s your interior style?
I’m a big fan of bold, colourful, crafted and creative spaces. Being a designer I love to have walls full of artwork and stylised shelving. I definitely steer towards modern interiors, with a nod to Scandi styling and industrial fittings… I would have every door and window in crittall if I could afford to! I'm also a big believer that glass, plants and foliage bring life to a space, providing that bridge between the outside and in.

What’s your go-to colour palette?
My style is often a base of monochrome combined with a bold colour. Dusky pink is very much a feature in my home, lilac, teal, dark blues, grey, green and a hint of heritage sprinkled along the way.

What are your decorating top tips?

  1. People are often afraid to use colour, I know this first hand having previously only steered towards grey and monochrome in my twenties, however with age and experience I have learnt to embrace colour and run with it.

  2. Colour drench walls, skirting and ceilings in the same colour. It gives height to any room, brings warmth to a space and a richer look overall.

  3. Be bold and lead by your personality rather than trend. Your style is timeless and will bring you more comfort than the current trend.
